Jelani Pomell is a photographer, director and creative director whose work explores the relationship between people, culture and identity.

His practice begins with ideas rather than a medium, moving fluidly between photography and film to shape the visual language of each project. He collaborates closely with artists and brands to create work that feels culturally considered, emotionally honest and built to endure.

As founder of WAB, Jelani’s multidisciplinary studio practice spans photography, moving image, publishing and design, guided by the belief that strong ideas should exist cohesively across every medium.
